What is CrossFit Kids?
CF Kids is a strength and conditioning program designed to effectively teach the CrossFit methodology to children ages 3-18 years through age-appropriate instruction and cueing. In a group setting, kids participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results. This prepares them not only to be well-rounded, but also hard-working and tenacious people.
What makes CrossFit Kids different?
CF Kids workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness program that is broad, inclusive, and general (B.I.G.) and scalable for any participant level. What that means is that each child experiences challenges and rewards every workout, basing success on effort rather than comparison. Kids are training for life, rather than a sport-specific skill set.
Mon: 3:00 - 3:30 Age 3-5
Wed: 10:00 - 10:30 Age 3-5
Tue/Thu: 4:00-4:45 Age 5+
Saturday: 11:15-12:00 Age 5+
What should I look for in my Coach?
Good CF Kids trainers' classes will have age-appropriate FUN coupled with FITNESS. Quality of movement will be prioritized over weight and intensity. The Coach will also ensure that the movements are functional and constantly varied.
Your CF Kids Coach has been background-checked (which is reviewed annually) and has studied how to teach children using age-appropriate cues and methods.
